Hey there,
I've recently purchased a 1981 Fiat 124 Spider that's been in my wife's family for years.
I'm the first owner to be younger than the car (though not by much!).
I just safetied and insured it, and am in the process of getting a gear reduction starter installed, which came way quicker than I expected it to.
Attached is a photo after I pumped gas a few weeks ago.
I'll be around
Edit: A little update: Gear reduction starter and new tires have transformed the car into a reliable summer weekend car. I was once crossing my fingers at gas stations. Now, the car starts up every time and handles well.

Nice ride. Congratulations. You should be using gasoline without ethanol, like Shell 91 octane or maybe CTC 91 if it's available in your area without ethanol.
