Do old KYB's lose their charge over time?
My set are 15 years old at least...but only about 8K miles over that period.
Any thoughts? Thanks...

Re: Old KYB's
No idea about time in years vs time in moles and bouncing.
so, KYB gas tends tobe kinds stiff for these cars anyway; bounce it a few times and see how it stops.
better yet, drive it hard an see how it feels.
KYBs are cheap, so if you need new ones, not a big deal.

Re: Old KYB's
Agreed.
There is a way to test them. Which is to take them out, compress them completely and time how long it takes for them to return to full length.
Not really worth it, given how cheap KYBs are. It was worth it on my Sachs Advantage in the Derby, because they don't make those anymore and nothing available domestically fits.
