Hmmm - new flex coupler (Guibo) won't fit

Keep it on topic, it will make it easier to find what you need.

Ha.

Even with the center support released and able to move freely it’s not giving me enough room and the sliding shaft on the yoke is fully pressed back into the driveshaft.

Basically the engine and transmission appear to be further back than they should. I am assuming that that front yoke sliding shaft is there to help take up movement and also allow fitting. From everything I’ve read I should be able to simply slide the front yoke all the way back into the driveshaft and the remove / fit the flex coupler.

Hmmm...

is the shaft out of the differential? You have to take it completely out.

Try jacking up the rear of the transmission. That should tilt things forward a bit.

Be careful, make sure the car itself is VERY secure.

Hi - yes, I completely removed it.

Am going to replace the transmission mount and engine mounts, will make sure the rear of the transmission is lifted up. Thanks for the tips.
