If it's worn out bushings, make sure the steel sleeves are inserted into the new bushings - the shop that replaced mine handed them to me and said they couldn't get them in. When I got home I removed the bar and jury-rigged a device with a really long bolt, some washers, a nut and lube to press the sleeves in place. Now mounting the bar back was a mother - everything has to line up perfectly, took my two hours.

Steel sleeves? Hmm...where would these be?

I'm thinking of the ones in the Panhard rod bushings.
