Windshield wiper button

Trying to remove windshield button and interior light button in middle of dash. Not sure if I can just pull them off or not thank you!

chrome knurled rings unscrew then the plastic panel can be pulled forward and the bulbs disconnected from the lenses and that bit set aside. The switches also go through a metal part of the dash, all of which will become clear when you unscrew the knurled rings.
