Hi all,
Have had my 79 for just under a year and put a fair bit of work into it.
Now the diff has gone out and I'm having a hell of a time trying to find one to swap out- if only I had a 78 my options would be endless but the 79 seems to be a real pain. Might have to swap outthe back end.
Any thoughts?

What I did on my 79 is swap out the diff. to a 75 diff. , you will also have to use the pan hard from this year. The car performs great fast acceleration , been in car now for 7 years no issue.
