Pictures from Photobucket Problems

I have a Picture that I took of my spider with some scenery in the back ground that I thought you all might enjoy ,,,but when I copy it from photobucket to the forum it isn't as wide a shot as it should be .. In other words the right side of the photo is missing about an inch of picture and therefore fouls up my picture I wanted to post.

Is this something that happens to others or jsut me ?

According to the Pope, you would need to resize the photo smaller. Almost everyone has the same problem until they learn the trick, that's why I use thumbnails, I don't have to mess with editing. The option for thumbnails are on a second page, select the photo, go to the bottom of the page and click the rightmost blue bar (generate html and img. code).

Thanks again Captain Ron ,,LOL ,,I think I got it figured out ,,??? and if so I will put the picture on tomorrow . I believe I can put in on at a notch larger that thumb nail . If I use the tiny one it does not show what I want to point out as it's just to small . Now that I have made a big deal out of the photo ,,it better come through for me .. Huh? papa

These pictures are from a hill top in Oregon over looking the Columbia River into Washington . In the first photo if you look real close you can see on the left the top of MT Rainier and in the right you can see MT ST Helens .. I thought this was a great shot at 2 states and 2 famous Mountains ,,plus one of our loved Fiat Spiders ALL IN ONE PHOTO ..

I took 2 more photos at close up so you can see the mountain tops a little clearer ,, hope all the picture is shown now that Ron helped me down size them from photobucket .. enjoy papa

You are welcome ..I never was a great picture taker but since my son bought me this Cyber Shot camera I have taken a lot .
If you or anyone would take some pictures from your area with a Fiat and put them on for all to see ,,I would like that also .

I do more than just sit around the house as I live in the country and live on a 5 acre place to keep up ,but I am retired and able to work when I want and also enjoy reading about all things on the forum .So thats why you see me on a lot ,,if that is alot ?? I like stories too. LOL papa

Maybe it isn't like a park but it is interesting to look at and besides our Fiats can spoof up anything ,,right ? LOL

You gotta share with me on how to enlarge pictures like the one you just sent .. Ok ? papa

I select the picture in "my albums" in photobucket. Then go to the bottom of the page, there you'll see a row of blue bars, click on "generate HTML and IMG code", you'll open a second page with options on how to copy your picture. Click on
"IMG clickable thumbnails for messege boards-recommended" and it will copy the URL. Then when you are composing just paste it in your post, (ctrl+v), no need to use an insert command from the buttons above the composition area. Did you notice that when my picture enlarges you can click on it and it will get even larger, filling the screen?
When I'm copying photo(s) from photobucket I open a 2nd browser, one for FS.com and one for photobucket.

Thank you very much ,,I like pictures and I like stories and you gave me both ,,real pretty view Of Mt Baw Baw ..In fact the coountry looks like my kind of country ,,trees trees and more trees.. I could live there pretty easy..
About the name of the Mountain ,,thats what My younins called their baby bottle. LOL

And How about that Car of yours ,, It's just "AWESOME" as the younger generation say ,,and the wheels and tires ,and the paint job and steering wheel,, whow! I envy you ..

In fact , for my wife I would like a steering wheel on the right side as she drives on our country roads off the edge of the gravel and pavement on some pretty rough edges and it's hard on the tires.. I figure she could see what exactly she was driving on maybe ..LOL I only mention it once in awhile though and I still love her ,so this is just between you and me .. thanks again ,,papa from Oregon

If you travel a little ways further south from my home in Gippsland, you fall off the edge of the continent into Bass Strait. This hazardous stretch of water separates our sparsely populated island state of Tasmania from the mainland and if you are into forests, wilderness, mountain scenery and strange wildlife then this is right up your alley.
Being physically isolated and with a State population of less than half a million, the Tasmanians rely heavily upon tourism to keep their basically rural economy ticking over. About 20 years ago they hit upon the idea of staging a 6-day competitive special-stage tarmac rally which travels all over the island as a means of attracting visitors. Targa Tasmania was born. Since then a number of smaller 1 to 3 day events have followed and Tasmania is now a Mecca for those of us who love to drive classic cars at speed over some of the world's best tarmac roads.

The Coupe has competed in 10 such events and has already secured an entry in Targa '09 (April 28th - May 3rd)

Thanks for the Histoy and Geography and I mean it. There is nothing like hearing about an area than from one who lives there ,,in this case ,You .. I have so many grandchildren that I most likely wont get to visit this place you speak of but to get a ring side seat of how it it from you is as good as it gets.. People msut fly in for this racing event and making it a pretty big deal.. If it's televised then maybe I will get a look at it . .thx Curly
