While replacing carpet and redoing interior i found these wires behind/under drivers seat. There's 2 of them and they go thru grommet underneath car. They look like they go to fuel pump. They weren't connected to anything. Should they be doing something? Any thoughts are appreciated.
What do these wires do?

Re: What do these wires do?
The pink/black and the white/black wires go to the switch in the seat belt buckle, it is used for the fasten seat belt warning.
I don't know about the wire going through the grommet under the car though.
Hope this helps!

The wire going thru the grommet is the fuel pump connection at least on the 1980 fi spider (the one I have )
