Re: What computer?
Harumph! Huh? What?
I'm sorry, I fell asleep while reading a Michael Connelly book.
OK.
Mike's right. The two control components on our FI system are the dual relay and the ECU. ECU stands for Electronic Control Unit. It's called a computer, but it could only be considered a computer in the most basic sense, it responds to input signals and supplies a ground circuit to the fuel system components.
It is extremely rare for an ECU to fail, they are pretty bullet proof. If you are not getting control signal to your fuel components, mainly the injectors and the fuel pump, it is more probably a ground, fuse, or dual relay issue.
Go here to get a set of diagnostic tests for the dual relay and ECU.

Also check that the two ground wires are connected well on the intake plenum, and that the connector on the back of the ECU is also.
If your car won't start, check the inline fuse up behind the main fuse panel, it's the one on a brown with white stripe wire.
The ECU and dual relay are found under the dash behind the glove box.
If you need more, let us know, and we'll get more symptoms from you to get things A-OK.
