Greetings From Dallas

Post by taaaag »

Hello All,

I'm introducing myself hahahah, since I didn't post any updates since I bought a 1979 2000 from a charity auction and super excited to get it started and running. I've already been down to Vick's Auto and got hooked up with some part. I think I'm on Vick's Auto website at least 4 times a day now hahaahah.

I'm sure the original owner is a member of this forum, so I want to thank you for donating your car to the Dallas Can Academy, and also leaving some brand new parts for me in the trunk. :D

I'll try to post as often as I can with my progress, and glad to have found this community of Fiat enthusiast.

Welcome to the community. Looking forward to seeing your updates and progress with your fiat. I'm in Hurst and might bump into you at Vicks or AR sometime.

Looking at the engine pic it's had some work done. Obvious header and carb upgrades, what carb is hiding under the air cleaner?

If you don't mind, what did you pay?

Not bad at all. A new header and carb cost almost as much as you spent on the entire car. Sounds to me like you’re already ahead of the game.
