Spider 2000. Devon. UK

Hi. I pulled my 1982 Spider 2000 (California import) out of a dusty garage a month or two ago. She had been there about 7 years after being pushed in by the previous owner following a problem with starting.
Despite living half a mile from the beach (I acquired her from a guy in the same village in North Devon, down in the South West of England) the car is in quite a solid condition and a very worthy candidate for restoring.
A new fuel pump and a little tinkering with electrics and she now starts and runs pretty well.
There have been one or two surprises (my first post will be to cry for help in identifying what car the 138AR2000 engine came from - it isn't the original!) but I am really enthusiastic about getting the car on the road as soon as I can.
