Wiring Harness Connectors/Pins
Hi all, I have just become the guardian of a 1980 Fiat Spider 2000. The previous owner hot wired the fuel pump to the fuse panel and installed a toggle switch to turn the pump on and off. Needless to say I found this to be a vey unsafe modification particularly if I happed to be in an accident and the fuel would not shut off unless I flipped the swich. I have sorted out which wires have been cut and spliced on the wire harness and removed the old metal connectors that had been cut. Does anyone know where I can purchase new connectors so I can reattach the original wires to the harness? I have been searching but no luck so far. Cheers

Re: Wiring Harness Connectors/Pins
If you can't find these connectors from the usual vintage Fiat sources mentioned on this forum, search for "Molex" on the internet. Two good web sources I've found for small-volume purchase are DigiKey and Mouser. If you can find a Radio Shack in your area, they usually have these as well. There are many different choices for housing size, pin size, and polarity, so measure twice and order once.
If you are re-wiring the fuel pump, consider this upgrade: http://www.fiatspider.com/f15/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=27700

Thanks for the info baltobernie.....I will check those leads and see if I can source the pins. I have also contacted Vick Autosports to see if they might have them. Cheers!
