Hello,
Just bought a 71 Spider!
I’m really excited about learning how to take care of this car. I’m thankful there’s such a large community of people out there to help.
A few days ago I drove it home across the Bay Area and the brakes locked up twice - Once on the the freeway in traffic and once after using the brakes a lot descending down a hill and through a neighborhood. The car could barely make it into a parking spot. Each time the brakes relaxed after several minutes and it then I was able to drive. I ended up calling AAA to tow it home.
Anyway, I’m gonna post this elsewhere on the forum for advice.

I see you had some advice regarding your brakes, so I will leave it with; you will find just about everything you need to know about these great little cars here. I have done so much and used the knowledge here to succeed and feel confident.
