Hi,
My aunt had an '81 Fiat Spider 2000 FI seated on her garage for some time (actually, a lot), and the weather made several small holes on the body, especially the hood hinge. The engine was OK when the car was parked about 3 or 4 years ago . The interior trim is in excellent condition (still with some original plastic covers) and the underside of car was treated so no rust is present there. The car color is champagne.
I plan to restore it to his glory days, but i might actually will need some advice from the forum.
Regards,
Hello from Peru
My aunt and her ex-husband, used to import FIAT cars into Peru during the early eighties. She recently brought from USA some exterior parts that were missing, such as bumper rubbers and directional lights. I'm not clear about the spares because the Fiat brand in Peru has intermittent apperance (some dealer appears, then goes out of business, then another dealer appears), due the fact that the brand hasn't consolidated here, like Nissan or Toyota that are well established brands in my location.
Maybe i might have to import some spares in the future (as the car running condition is for now unknown), I'll tell you guys when the car finally goes to a friend's repair shop.
