Hello all, I recently purchased a '69 850 Spider. A one owner, Southern California car (no rust). In very good shape but i am sure i will have questions as i use it and maintain it. Look forward to using the Forum to help and maybe meeting other similar vintage Spider owners in Orange County.
Is there an 850 sub-group?
I think it runs too hot. In 72 degree weather at 50 mph the temp gauge went past 220. Any thoughts?
p.s. I was the happy owner of a '68 124 Spider for 25 years. Sold it in 1995 to a guy in Costa Mesa, CA. Maybe it is still alive.
