I'm happy to join the forum, btw I have a 1979 Fiat Spyder 2000, light blue w/tan top & int. It's special to me because after owning dozens of cars in my life, this is the only one I ever bought new. I did do a few lightweight mods like headers, Ansa exhaust and Euro carb 36/36, but other than that its been a fairly reliable car. I rebuilt the 5-sp tranny at the 84k mark, it currently has 143k, the rest has been routine maintenance stuff. I look forward to learning as much as I can and sharing my experiences with you guys. I am the ultimate do-it-yourselfer, other than putting on a set of tires and a paint job, no one ever touches the car but me. I'm sure many of you feel the same way

Welcome to the forum! If you see a blue 72 cruising around Madison, it's probably me!

Check out the Botham Winery Vintage Celebration on 13 AUG; we've entered every year since 2014, and until last year, were the only Fiat in attendance. Would be great to see a few more at the event.

Bought it a couple month ago in the springtime. Has 66,000 miles on it. Trying to find tires right now.
