Hi from Canada.....A
Newbie here. Finally convinced my dear old Dad to give pass on, for a price, his legacy! So my new mistress is an 82 Spider 2000 looking for some TLC. Spent the last month cleaning and buffing. Planning on getting under the hood next summer. Cheers! A!

Welcome to the forum A.
Boy did I read your post wrong at first. I thought you said you finally convince your dear old Dad to pass on!
Man, that would be going to extermes to get a Spider.
Congratulations on your new car, '82, the best year made, no question.
(Now I'll duck.)

Re: Hi from Canada.....A
welcome, I hope you don't eventually suffer from the same low self esteem as other 82 owners. They somehow feel they have to constantly proclaim their superiority in an effort to boost their image. It could be contagious!

Mark is just jealous! '82 is the last year for the (Fiat) Spider and they definitely saved the best for last. Congrats and let us know how we can help as you get it back in great shape. Post some pix too. What color is it?
