Hi all!
I know I was a member in the old days but must have got wiped off at some point along the way. I am the 2nd owner of my 1980 Spider and have been for 33 years now. It originally was my only transportation but I eventually got a truck to drive in the rain and when it was super hot (deep south). It was manufactured in 1979 and I bought it because I wanted a carbed engine.
In the last month I repainted it and fixed some old dents, put new tires (205x60R13's), repainted the original alloy wheels, and have been generally giving it a spring cleaning. Take a look...
I'd like to clean up the engine compartment and remove some of the extra vacuum hoses and things since I've removed the smog pump and canister parts. Any suggestions on how to plug the old ports and do this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff
