I am in the process of restoring a 1978 Fiat Spider. I just pulled the fuel tank today and will need a new one. Where is the best place to get one?

We have many good vendors here, Auto Ricambi US, Midwest Bayless, Vicks. My favorite for both price and ACCURACY/SERVICE is Auto Ricambi US. Others may speak up on their preferences.

I have used all of them in the last year. Vicks has a really nice catalog they sent with my order and it was almost worth the order in itself. AR is also good to deal with. Matt at Midwest Bayless is a nice guy and they have lots of second hand parts. I visited their place when I drove my fiat across the continent last summer and have no hesitation about ordering from them.

I have not personally used them but I do know that Chris Obert in California does good service (he sent stuff to my friend in Peru for his fiat) and Allisons seems to have a good rep on the forums also.

Not all the stuff is the same at each place, you need to sometimes look at a few vendors to actually find what you need or want.
