Dreaming of a Blue Fiat

Post by JL74124 »

Thank you for welcoming me to the group. My story is similar to many of you, My first car was a 1974 124 Convertible in Medium Blue. I purchased it from a wealthy women in New Jersey for $500. It had a blown head gasket at the time and she didn't have the patience to get it fixed. Lucky me. I found my "Tony" and he kept in running for 5 years when eventually I had to sell it. Fast forward 30+ years and I really want to own that car again. I have been searching the car sites and the auctions and have yet to find one similar that doesn't need a ton of work. I leads would be appreciated. I live in New York, so ideally would want something on the East Coast.

There is one in Maine Craigs List - been there for over a year. Not blue but white. Pictures show it was on a rotisserie. I think just needs interior work to complete. I called on it about a year ago (it's in Auburn) and the seller told me he refused a $4500 offer.

Would you happen to have the contact information for the car in Virginia? Have you seen it? Any idea on the condition?

Thank you in advance
