Blowing fuse when using headlight switch
Hi all. I keep blowing a fuse when I flick on my headlight switch on 76 Spider. I am slowly going through the entire lighting system and this seems to be my last problem. The fuse blows as soon as I put the switch in first position (side marker lights). Headlights still work even after fuse is blown. I've replaced bulbs on all outside lights and light pods seem to look good. I don't know how to diagnose this problem as I am extremely limited in my electronic skills. Any help is much appreciated thanks

Re: Blowing fuse when using headlight switch
If you have not registered at the web site Mirafiori.com I would recommend you do that. There you will find the owners manual for a 1976 Spider as well as the wire diagrams.
I think the fuse that is blowing is either the 7th or 8th from your steering column. There are the fuses associated with the parking lights and license plate lights. The middle position of the headlight switch is the parking light position.
