Can't seem to get the bearing off the main shaft. Does it need a puller or a press to get it off? My puller isn't big enuf.
Also after some reading I now realize I should have marked the drive shaft pieces for re-orientation. I failed to do this. How much of a problem am I going to have in the reassembly?

Re: Drive shaft center bearing support
I had the same problem removing the bearing. I secured it in a vice and used an angle grinder to carefully cut a lengthwise groove in it that was not quite all the way through the inner race and it popped off with some moderate persuasion from a small ball-peen hammer. The groove allows a little stretching to occur and there is no damage to the shaft. It is messy and smelly when cutting through the rubber. Good luck!
