Hi
I ditched my life long addiction to British cars last year , in favour of my Fiat Spyder . It's a much superior car , BUT it seems to have a well hidden [ or non existent ?? ]social life in this area .
British cars have a well established show circuit is this because their owners are masochists and Misery loves Company ??? There seems to be no equivalent for Fiats to meet . The average old car show is dominated by American cars .
Where do all the Fiats go in the short summer , am I looking in the wrong places??

LOLOL, Don't feel too bad, in Eastern MA, I am ALWAYS the only Fiat there, except of course for Larz Tutto. But the regular cruises? I attend about 3 per week, all over Eastern MA, and nearly always (95% of the time) the only Fiat.

Don't be shy about going to cruise nights around town. When I go I'm usually the only Fiat, but a lot of people love these cars and wish they still had one!

Re: Meetings and Shows in the Ottawa / Montreal area ????
A group of us get together a few times over the course of the year anywhere between Montreal and Ottawa.
In fact yesterday, Jan 28th, the Ottawa gang took a day trip and we had a well deserved boys day. We're just a group of guys who could laugh or cry or talk Fiat or antagonize each other like old married couples do. All this over a good brunch and a few brews. At the end of the day we're all good. (A good sense of humor is a requisite.)
From left to right: Sergio, me Ari, Jay, Canadan, Spiderdan, Phaetn
We eventually moved on, piled into one vehicle and made our way to the Montreal Auto Show. The guys are not crazy. At this point we were being affected by the musty air, being parked 12 levels below sea level.
Despite Jay's thumbs up approval of the new 124, in reality he was generally unimpressed and vows that he will be keeping his '80 for a long long time.
Come evening, i gave the guys a tour on the town. At this point we are at one of the peaks of Mount Royal. I felt like i was 18 again, cruising with the boys. Jay not shown here, he's in the car keeping his seat warm. I keep telling him to quit doing that while he's in my car
These guys are good eggs. We're joined together by a common make of car that we drive, only this time in the dead of winter our Fiats are nowhere to be seen. Genuine.
