A lot of replacement electrical components are being sourced from Russia which were made for the Lada Vaz but somewhat interchange with the 124 spider. Just a couple I've encountered, courtesy light and intermittent wiper delay. They work but I've always had to grind the plastic plugs down a bit to get them to plug in. I have no experience with the ignition switches.

Cool, thanks for the help. I've ordered an original fiat switch and went through the fuse box while waiting for it to show up. Hopefully tomorrow I will have it back up and running and post the results.

Hi there,

The hand drawn diagram is perfect. I used it for my 79 and it works as it should.
Right now I have connectors, but when my soldering skills increase I'll do the proper job on it.

Shrink wrap keeps it clean, though... :D

I really thought he was ridiculing the op. it was snarky. 99.98 % percent of posts about lada switches are about the ignition switches.

right, so to attack a poster with like "What is a lada switch, what is it used for, just wondering" is being a male organ.

The two reds into 15 is a bit of a challenge. I've had to fix it on the fly and have since redone it with a better crimp.

I really have to practice my soldering skills now.
