From my thread:

"For those on the forum thinking of doing this. It takes 3 feet of 3/8 hose to run from the fuel tank to the pump. I bought 10 feet of 1/4 inch hose for all the other lines, including the charcoal canister line. With the exception of the 3 lines that run from the tank to the common vapor connector, I replaced all vapor, feed and return lines at the rear of the car. I will need approximately 2 more feet of 1/4 to change out those 3 vapor lines."

I know this is an old thread, but I'm confused. This post says to use 3/8" hose from the tank to the fuel pump. Some recommend a Wix Fuel Filter in between. But the Wix part numbers mentioned use a 1/2" input/output nipple. Some also say they use a clear filter, which I can't find in 1/2 inch but I can in 3/8". I assume 3/8" inch is a tight fit and 1/2" a loose fit on the tank and fuel pump fittings?

Also, I'm using low pressure fuel line here on the low pressure side of the fuel pump, the kind that says not for fuel injection. The clear filters also say not for FI. Is that OK?

I think there is confusion between the carburetor and Fuel injected tanks. I believe the fuel injected tank output is a 12mm hose. This is close to 1/2 inch, actually 0.472 of an inch. Basically 1/32 of an inch smaller than 1/2 inch. Sometimes the 1/2 inch filter will fit into the hose and sometimes the hose is too dry and has to be replaced with new 1/2 inch fuel hose. Low pressure line is ok between the tank and the pump.
