fasten upper console

my upper console has decided to start dropping out and down on one side. I don't see any fastening points anywhere. how are these things supposed to fasten to dash?

ALSO, has anyone used the empty (wood trim) space to mount tweeters keep front woofers in panel?

Its not mounted to the dash. Screwed into the lower console only (2 screws each side)

I have the exact same issue since having the consoles out. So then can we assume the lower console attaches firmly to the tunnel somewhere and holds the upper one snug up to the dash?

my connecting tabs are near the front of the lower console. I will try connecting them but its pretty loosy goosy there as well

I have never seen any upper mounting tabs on the section of the console that attaches to the tunnel. Looking at the aftermarket ones I don't believe they have any either. Is perhaps your tunnel leaning a bit?? Giving the impression of sag in one direction??

Yes just passenger side dropping out. may just shim up lower console on that side
