Re: rearend shakes
Thats were I would start looking too. The Guibo, U-Joints, Trailing Arm bushings.
Does it just shake on take off and then stablize once up to speed? or when coasting - no load on the drive train?
The Guibo and U-joints are under the most stress at take-off. Not sure... do automatics also have a center support bearing on the drive shaft?

Re: rearend shakes
I'd jack the rear up, put the axle on good jack stands, block the front wheels really well and start the car and put it in 2nd perhaps and poke the gas pedal with a stick while you have a look underneath. I found out my U-joints were not quite right...clips not in the recess properly and consequently out of balance.
Block the car up as well is a good safety back-up as well.

Re: rearend shakes
I've had this occur in several spiders i've owned. The problem was the carrier block for the driveline bearing. The rubber gets old and cracks allowing the driveline the jump at certain rpms. The rubber is very difficult to inspect. While you are at it, replace the u-joints in the driveline as well. As others have said, also inspect the guibo. I have had quibos with big chunks out of them and the driveline still runs without vibration.
Re: rearend shakes
I inspected the under carriage and i felt some play along the drive shaft and the middle support rubber missing chunks of rubber . i ordered a full kit from autoricambi ,i will install next week.thanks for helping
Re: rearend shakes
hi guys i did replace U joints, main support bearing and the GUBIO(FLEX JOINT) instead of shaking all time living from standing position now i noticed only three shake in a five mile drive and about ten starts from standing. What also can be wrong
