Nice to "meet" you! Site was recommended to me, by my husband's cousin who sold me my '79 Pininfarina Spider 2000 last year. It's been more or less restored (by cousin) but still could use some work, and I'm not sure if I can manage it myself or if I should surrender it to someone who could. I'm hoping you folks will talk me into keeping it! I love the little car, but it is a little daunting when things go "pop" all of a sudden....

welcome! If you decide to keep the car, you'll find lots of help and advice on this site. There's no such thing as a boring drive in your car, something interesting is bound to happen on every trip

Pop is not an uncommon sound for us. After all, if we personally were in as good a shape as our antique autos.....Oh, you meant the car was making the noises?
