Perhaps there's no simple answer, but hoping someone can lead me down the right path. After many hours of struggle and pain, I got my new clutch installed and the transmission back on.
It doesn't work.
The clutch pedal depresses with no resistance except for the spring and clearly the clutch isn't engaging. Before installing the tranny, I checked that the throw out bearing was connected to the arm and believe it was right. I'm fairly sure I didn't put the clutch on backward but who knows.
Is there any hope I can fix whatever I did wrong without doing the whole thing again?

May have popped off during assembly. Possible to put back without dropping transmisission again but tricky.

Mine popped off on me just while removing/installing the cable. It doesnt take much. It took about 30 minutes to wiggle it back into position under the car.
