Just obtained a 69 Spider that needs a lot of work. I am looking for a drive shaft. I am new to the import thing but love the style of these cars. I had a Triumph Spitfire as my first car and loved it.

I had a 1969 Fiat 124 spider in 1973. I loved it. I now have a 1970.
My '69 had a different type of drive shaft than my '70. I never had to do anything with it except it has a grease fitting.
A slight word of caution is that there is a lot of info on torque setting for bolts - ensure it is for your year. I do have some but cannot say if it would be exactly for yours - I do have the 1438 engine.
I have just changed out all the front suspension, wheel bearings, shocks, springs etc. Re torqued cross member and other suspension bolts. Just put the engine back in last weekend. Had the head re-done and putting in new carb.
There is a lot of good advice from this group - and they have been very helpful with my foolish questions.
Enjoy the car. In a few years I will get a '69 or earlier.
