I am looking for a reputable shop to do a complete rear end assembly overhaul on my 1982 fiat 124. The prev owner/mechanic replaced housing ( old one bent in accident) and used old gears. Did not have tools or expertise to reinstall properly.Set backlash, etc. I live near Macon Ga but do not know any good mechanics.
Any help would be appreciated. I would consider replacing complete assembly with used if I knew for sure used one good. That's my dilemma. Thanks to all.

Re: Rear differential overhauled
Any driveline shop should be able to do that. They just need a source for the adjusting shims.

Thanks Casaba. I have located a capable shop but don't know if he has a source for shims. Do you have them in your inventory? Thanks
