Hello from Washington State
Hello from Washington State
Hello all... Im Geno from washington state. I just purchased my first Fiat. I bought a 78 spider. Im a professional mechanic and opened my own shop a year ago. I specialize in Ford products so working on this very old technolgy (yet rather advanced for its time) has become a bigger challange then i thought ! Its great to be here and please bear with the dumb questions i may have.
Re: Hello from Washington State
Welcome
As a relative newbie I can assure you that dumb questions are allowed or they would have already asked me to leave.
Being a mechanic will be a great advantage in pursuit of the perfect Spider.
A word to the wise...post some pictures. You won't hear the end of it until you do.

Welcome to the site! Being a porfessional mechanic, you already have a jump on most of us. We've all had to become backyard mechanics of sorts because we drive Fiats Definitely would love to see some pix.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
I'm from your neighborhood originally and miss it bunches. I was just up there last week taking my mom home after the Mirafiori Oregon '08 campout. There is an active group in the Renton/Kent area if you want to hang around other Fiat nut cases, FEN (Fiat Enthusiasts Northwest)
Good luck with your new business and your new car.

Darsella, I was going to say you were the exception to the "nut case" appelation, but then changed my mind when I thought of the decision you made to sell your anniversary model and start over with an 85-1/2. So, howdy fellow nut case!

You need to upload your pictures first to one of the free photo sharing sites, flickr, photobucket, ect. They will have options to copy the photo's URL or make thumbnails and so forth. Come back to post a message and insert it. I have the best luck by copying a thumbnail at photobucket and just copy it here. No need to use the insert commands above the message box that way.
