Tranny plug tool
Tranny plug tool
I realize the wrench needed to remove tranny fill plug is 12 mm but do I need one with short handle, long handle, one that fits on ratchet or what? Need some first hand experience before I buy tool. Just hate to buy one I can't use for one reason or another. Thanks to all

The one I've always used has a handle about a foot long. Works for me.

I've been able to fit my socket up there between the firewall and trans case with no problem.

+1 There's plenty of room. If you get a socket you can put on a breaker bar if needed.
