Back Here Agaain - Almost

Post by RRoller123 »

Been gone awhile (who cares? hahaha!), travelling in our RV since June, but we are about to close on a property in Plymouth, MA and I will have a garage for the Spider once again. Spent most of the Summer in North Truro, and now we are in Plymouth, a wonderful place, all a hoppin' and full of history.

I am looking forward to participating on the forum again. And for all those of you who have been praying for my wife, her primary tumor has shrunk by 40% in 3 months as of the last CAT Scan, and her lung tumors are vastly improved. Thank you all; the power of prayer has once again been revealed to us. She is baffling her entire medical and Dana Farber team, since pretty much no one survives her type of cancer, but we will take it!

Welcome aboard! You will find plenty of...
Kidding aside, it hasn't been the same without you. And we do care. Glad to hear that your wife is fighting strong and working out her condition.. I thought you were leaving Mass coast altogether because you did not want to deal with the nasty winters. I hope that you settle soon, good luck on the closing.

Welcome back to the forum and great news! So glad to hear about the improvement! Made it to the Millis cruise on Saturday and represented for a little while. Lots of interesting rides, mostly American of course.

Thanks all! I do plan on attending Tutto Lite this Fall. But things sometimes intrude upon plans. I was sorry to miss the bigger August Tutto. The Spider is in a storage locker down on the Cape, but I start and drive it often and it will be moving back in with us in about 2 weeks.

I would like to make the Millis cruise and will be there in a couple of weeks. It usually runs into October when the weather is good!

Oh yes! We do plan to say goodbye to at least part of the Massachusetts Winter come January. We have a reservation at an RV park in Naples, Florida for the month of January. We bought a 5th wheel (Keystone Montana HC 343RL) that has turned out to be very comfortable, and we could easily live in it for many months in a row.

I assume you will take your spider with you. I have a motorhome and would take mine if I were going to be gone a lengthy stay. can't bear to be gone from it for very long. LOL

I actually AM now back full time. Good to be back, and I am enjoying all the threads again. Maybe not so much the occasional conflict, but hey, it is an election cycle year. We bought a condo home here in Plymouth, and are NOT going South for the Winter, as my wife's health is just a little too fragile for that trip in the RV. But she is doing quite well, for the time being she is kicking cancer's butt. Cautiously optimistic! :D
