    What is recommended lube for 82 fiat 124 in rear differential. EP or non EP 80-90 weight? Thanks

    Unlike the transmission, there is no brass in the rear differential so EP is ok for the rear end ( not for the trans).....Factory spec is 80W/90 EP for the rear end, and I think the steering box too.

    No, No, I'm positive that the bacon lube will ruin your rear end. Can't say it from experience, but common sense dictates. Respectfully, it is your rear end, what you do with it is your business.
