Hey Tim,
I'm not hammering on you here.
I didn't know it was possible to install the pressure plate backwards.
Are you sure you don't mean the clutch friction disc?

Yes, the one thing that could possibly go backwards was unmarked except for a green dot. Whatever you call that flat plate with the springs. That was backwards.
all of that is good now. Now sorting through electrical/dizzy issues.
been a very long year of this stuff

yes, the clutch plate can be put in backward. As I recall, the springs and the spines stick out farther on one side than the other. Don't know how much difference it makes.
