Hi guys, I've removed the non-original washer bag in my '81 2000 FI, as seen below.
Now I've got loads of space left, and I saw this bracket holding nothing:
Does anyone know what's supposed to be in here? Is it a round washer fluid bottle?
Thanks in advance!

It's hard to tell where that is from the picture. On the 81 I had it would have been one of three - two of which have been mentioned:
- If it's on the firewall in front of the passenger seat it's the coolant overflow bottle bracket.
- If it's on the driver fender up by the radiator it's the windshield washer bottle (not round, rectangular/odd shaped).
- If it's on the driver fender over the wheel it's the charcoal canister mount.

Re: Removed washer bag
Sorry, it's a bit difficult to spot the exact location. It's on the inside of the driver side fender, but not all the way up to the radiator. Like so:

Re: Removed washer bag
That looks like the charcoal canister position. I don't have a good picture of my 81's engine bay, but from this one you can see that the washer bottle is further forward.

Re: Removed washer bag
it's the charcoal vapor canister. I wouldn't worry about it too much, as the euro-spec Spiders (83-85) did not come with one.
