wont bore you with a 100 pics of before and afters .... 3 year project ... over my head and beyond my capabilities most of the way ... did it all myself in true shadetree mechanic .... all in the garage or driveway ... .. but it all worked out in the end ..... just proud and know how you guys appreciate a good project ....

They have child labor laws ya know... :D how long did you make the poor kid hold up the front of the Scout?? :mrgreen:

I've had the pleasure to see this rig up close and personal at Matt's house.
This is one very cool cornbinder.
The newly rebuilt engine sounds strong -- like it could pull a very long freight train up Pikes Peak!
Looks great in those colors, too.

had to have her lift it up to check some steering linkage .... only after she finished helping with putting on the top

thanks Dave .... my friend has a pic of me pulling his jeep out of a ditch ... but refuses to let it go .... little snow and ice where we were and I yanked it right out .... afterwards I laughed because I forgot to put it in 4 wheel drive ... it will not win any races but could pull a house off its foundation .... torque monster for sure

Really nice Scout, Matt! 2 of my uncles had Gen 1 Scouts, and they were a great combination of size and guts. Yours has me smiling at the memories.....thanks!!
