Dave,
I think Midwest Bayless offers their service. But i think you have to buy a 95 amp alternator first.

I don't know for certain , but i have heard that the Lada steering components will work.
There is a short arm version and a long arm version.

Link to Lada parts

Thanks, I heard the Lada box could be modified to work also, some say the internals can be swapped to the Fiat box. I am looking for some one who has done it to get the correct part numbers or a vendor who sells rebuilt steering boxes.

The best solution to your problem is to find a used box, drain it, clean it, replace the seals, fill it with fresh oil, install it and adjust it. itll run like new. made a world of difference in mine. I had 30 degrees and play that I couldn't adjust it any tighter.

I have a few used steering boxes but the play in mine is at the bottom where the pitman arm is. The shafts are worn and pitted where the needle bearings are. Also I haven't been able to find any repair info on the steering box. I would think there is a separate service manual for the steering box.
