SuperPro Urethane bushings

Post by So Cal Mark »

I now have SuperPro urethane bushings in stock for the Spider. The kits are packaged individually for each location;
front upper arms
front lower arms
sway bar ends
rear upper trailing arms
rear lower trailing arms
panhard rod

The control arm bushings are the Comfort line, which is designed for street use so that the ride is not so harsh. They're available now in our ebay store and will be on our website shortly. Of course you can always order by phone

I'm sure they will last longer. I can't count the number of times I've replaced my bushings in 255000 miles.
1979 Fiat Spider (since new)
2005 Lincoln LS (the wife's car)
2003 Chevrolet Cavalier (daily driver)
1999 Honda Shadow VLX 600
1972 Grumman Traveller 5895L (long gone).

The late arms are re-buildable but its much more difficult. Most ppl say you must 'burn' the old cylindrical bushings out and press in the new ones. We sell the bushings, but are currently out. Hope to have more the 1st part of next year.

Hi Mark,

Great product!

Could you please comment on the 'comfort' description of these bushings?

Harder, softer or similar to current rubber replacements?

Best regards,

Jordan

SuperPro makes two levels; Competition or Comfort. The Comfort line is for street use and is does not result in a harsh ride. We've been using the Comfort bushings on cars for a couple of years and they really produce a confident feeling in the suspension. SuperPro recently set up a west coast distributor, so we're finally able to get these in sufficient quantity to offer them.
