Metal brake line

Post by FiatnamedCarmen »

Hello,
My 1982 Fiat Spider 2000 has a brake line issue. I cannot find the male fittings for the metal brake line on the drivers side, front. These need to be metric with a special thread. Size is #10 by 1.25. The real difficulty is finding it with the shoulder. The male fittings have a blank shoulder at the bottom to allow seating in the flexible line and caliper. Anyone know where this can be ordered or found? Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

I got mine from my local NAPA. This fitting is in their catalog and says it is Fiat specific. A bit pricey as I recall -- maybe $15 or thereabouts. Sorry but I don't have the part number.
