Sorry...trying to be funny...it's just the amount of work that you have put into making this a great car by assembling it from scrap reminded me of someone building a car from scratch. It was definately meant as a complement you are much more skilled than I am!!

Epoxy primer applied to all bare metal cavities. This waterproofs the metal therefore protecting the bare metal from oxidation problems.

But does it not burn off when welding is done on those members? This is something I always wanted to know, how to protect a closed box section that I can't get to after welding.

drill a hole and use waxing spray gun
on the end of plastic hose is a nozzle that sprays whatever goes tru in all directions. i usually use it for cavity wax

Eastwood sells an internal coating with a disposable spray nozzle like that. Same sort as I used on my header interior.

Reminds me of the old saying, how somethings are worth more than the sum of their parts. What appears to be basic metal panels welded together, end up being a beautiful spider!
