Has anyone purchased one of the new FI fuel tanks? - The ones that are produced without baffles?
I'm losing fuel pressure around corners under about a half a tank (issue gets worse as tank gets lower). Sucks very much. was wondering if anyone else has had issues with their new tanks?

I have a non baffled tank i got from AR. Havent had any starvation issues with it. Maybe i'm not cornering hard enough. The couple of times i've taken it hard i havent had an issue, but dont think the tank was under a half. I have had that issue with a baffled tank.

Alright, I'm going to ask you go drive the crap out of your car for me when it gets under a half a tank. real issues happen on right turns. I have a different fuel pump than stock, so that may be to blame. But I want to narrow down the variables. The Bosch fuel pump is expensive. The MSD I bought appears to be well made albeit slightly louder.

Also, My second question is how do I fix it? installing baffles is probably impossible.

Right turns make sense as the fuel is moving away from the pickup tubes. The solution are: find a good condition OEM tank and give it a super clean, Take one of these apart, install baffles and seam together again. Good job for a custom bike shop, and finally the simplest.....top your tank up before going out hard.

Haven't had the fuel starving issue yet with my new baffleless type tank, but it makes sense it could at lower fuel levels. I am also concerned what wear and tear all that side sloshing will do to my new fuel sender.
