Lower control arm bushings
Lower control arm bushings
Dissasembled the entire front suspension prepping for upper and lower control arm bushings. How do the lower control arm bushings come out? The piece that bolts to the frame is in the middle with the bushings on each side. I can't even figure out how the center piece that attaches to the frame is removed. Any feedback appreciated
Re: Lower control arm bushings
And while I'm asking questions same for the ball joint. How do I remove it?

Re: Lower control arm bushings
If the ball joints aren't already held on by nuts and bolts, you'll have to drill them out and use nuts and bolts fir the new one.
For the lower control arm, you start off my pressing the "piece that bolts to the frame" one direction and it will push the bushing out. I don't know how it can be done without a press.

Have you ever tried a search on a forum ?FiatRG wrote:How do the lower control arm bushings come out?

I can suggest a Russian method too :

I do prefer the press method to be honest.
