Just curious Bill, do you have any idea who made these rims? i think they are great!! Have any good pictures of yours?Pasni wrote:Last I talked to Joe he was still talking about retiring. He's been one of the best Fiat mechanics in Northern California for years. He used to tell me how to fix my problems over the phone so I didn't have to bring it in. He and his son did work on my car. He knows Fiats inside and out. Last I heard he finally did retire from regular service but still tinkered on special projects. I haven't been down to Redwood City to see the shop in a while-sounds like he's left there. Sorry I couldn't tell you about the car.
On a another note, this is the first Fiat I've seen with the same wheels I have.
Joe's FIAT Service Redwood City CA?

I bought my wheels in 1993 from a now defunct Italian Auto Shop in San Francisco. The owner had them in the attic and offered them to me for dirt and regretted his sale once he saw them on the car. Only recently have I tried to learn about them. Inside the wheel rim it says "Wheel Distributors, Inc. Ontario Calif." I had little luck on my first searches but have since found a Wheel Distributors located in Mira Loma, Ca a little farther east than Ontario which is east of L.A. They do have a phone number and claim to be the largest aftermarket supplier of wheels starting with 15 inch. These are 13 inch.
I have two types of plastic center caps but don't have pictures with them yet.
Not the cleanest shot or wheel
This is what I have with center caps.
