Looks like a super well prepared car. Interesting solution for the front turn signals on a bumper-less car.

Yes, lots of work on the car. Wonder what the starting point car was/is. Looks like VX wheels and the side marker is similar to a VX as well. Later model front grill....

Nice looking car and maybe it's just me, but if I were going to throw that much money at a car I would start with a real Abarth.

How can you tell it's not an original Abarth? Except for the wheels and rear scoop, it looks a lot like these:

In any case, that's one very dedicated owner. The semi-annual DOT inspections alone are thousands of dollars.
