cooling system re-fill

I am a believer now. I was always skeptical about having the radiator higher than the engine. Well geno (car's name) started running hotter than usual. Tried burping it with heater cocks open but only slightly improved it. So I said what the heck and parked it on a hill (my driveway is hilly) and burped it again. Well to my surprise it actually made a difference. Where it normally ran about 200 degrees it now runs about 180 degrees.

Bingo. Drill the t-stat hole, jack up the front end, turn on the heater, fill the system, including the TPH if fitted. Done.
