Bought my first Fiat 80 Spider
Bought my first Fiat 80 Spider
Hi my name is Ray I live near Seattle. I am a car nut and have owned several MGb's in the past. After several years of not having a convertble I got the bug real bad. So this last weekend I picked up a 80 Spider runs real good has a new top and master cylinder and a few other things. The previous owner had bought it last year after the car sat for several years under a carport. The car is pretty straight but the top of the trunk is rusty other than that it appears to be rust free. Maroon with a black interior. The clear coat is pealing bad. Now if it would only quit raining and get warm. (coldest June on record so far)

Re: Bought my first Fiat 80 Spider
Hello and welcome from an ex Seatlleite. I'm from there, started in construction as a framer and boy, do I remember the rain! Sometimes it was so wet, we'd loose the ground on our tools. There have been a good number of people joining the forum from your area. Do you know about the FEN club? Fiat Enthusiasts Northwest. Look them up if you want to join other people "bitten with the bug".
Congratulations on your new family member, good luck with it, and have fun!
