Re: Edit... Resto mod coming together
Ahhh, you guys are too much!!
Ok, I cut the brackets back off and tested a few new locations. A bit of angle seemed to work best
So I spot welded both sides and tested bottom
And top
No binding within the reach of the shock.
Then just to be sure all is well, a installed the upper arm and checked again
Looks like it will work. Now I have to take it all back out since I am using a spare cross member and my engine assembly needs to be in for final install.

Re: Edit... Resto mod coming together
Looks great, can't see in the picture but do you have either tapered washers or spacers on each side of the heim joint. Used to make sure when the joint moves thru it's travel, the ball part of the joint does not hit the through bolt.
Made up similiar for a rear sway bar.
Thanks, Rick

Re: Edit... Resto mod coming together
Ok, I love the engineering that went into these,,,,they look great, but what makes them different than the bolt on style I used? I can see that they are adjustable but I have no race/suspension design experience. Thanks
