Once again 4uall...THANK YOU...My brake line hose was indeed feeling the axle drop. Using your pictured see-saw support method, as well as a screwdriver to leverage the lower part of the spring off the seat had the springs off in about 15 minutes. Then I could sand and repaint them with rust converter...also clean up and paint the spring seats.4uall wrote:i did it a different way the side that is raised lowers the opposite side, i remove the lower side then switch

your way would work however, possible danger with compressed spring
i did not remove the brake line either time, guess i got lucky
